The Secretary of the League would like to inform all that a Single’s and Doubles competition will be held this year. Matches begin with Singles on May 2nd followed by Double’s. The venue for all matches is to be Gibney’s and Cock Tavern played on all tables it is expected that the Singles and Doubles will be played over 4 or 5 weeks finishing May 26th or June 2nd. entry fee is €10 per person for Singles and Doubles the competition is limited to the first 64 completed entry forms accompanied by the correct fee.Please note no fee means no entry. Entry forms have been delivered to each Pub in the league and Paddy O’ Toole is running the competition he will collect forms and entry fee from each Pub on the 19th April no entries or fee will be accepted after this date. Draw for both competitions will be completed by the end of April and a copy of the draw will handed in to each pub. Copies will also be posted on our website and Facebook.

Congratulations Alverno “B” Champions 2015.
Last Tuesday night saw Division 2 champions Alverno “B” finally get over the finishing line, the runners up spot will be decided next week.
Division 1 top 3 positions are decided and next week will decide the final finishing positions.
Relegated from Division 1 are Strand and Gibneys “A”.
Well done to all teams in both leagues and hopefully 2015 League matches will all be completed by next Tuesday night.

On behalf of the RTPL may I thank The Coast Tavern of Laytown and Brook Pub of Portrane for hosting the Christmas Cup finals.
Captains and players if any player is unsure of any rule they are entitled to ask the other team before the match. If clarification is still required please contact the secretary or any committee member to avoid disruption and disputes during the league season.

At a recent committee meeting the following procedure was agreed.
Matches may only be postponed bereavements or severe weather which would hinder safe travel to or from a venue.
Should a match be postponed then that match must be played within 28 days from the original match date.

To all teams that Score cards are returned every 2 weeks from the beginning of the League.
After every match, all scorecards (to be dated and signed by all players correct score to be put down) dropped into milestone bar every 2nd monday by 8.30 thks
Failure to do so will lead to an automatic points deduction.
